Justin H Aida

Justin Aida began working with Dunn Carney as a summer associate in 2007 and 2008 and is a member of the firm's corporate counsel team.  Justin’s practice area focuses on intellectual property with an emphasis in trademark prosecution, IP brand protection and IP licensing.  During law school Justin was an extern at adidas North America and gained experience in the field of sports licensing, player endorsements and IP enforcement.  In addition, Justin clerked for Minter Ellison, a large Asia Pacific law firm, where he assisted with IP and competition law matters including patent licensing, unfair competition, price fixing, geographic indicators as well as general corporate matters. 

Prior to law school Justin was the Intellectual Property Specialist for Oakley, Inc., where he managed the company's international trademark and patent portfolios and dealt with IP matters related to marketing, import and export and compliance. 

Justin was a collegiate volleyball player and swimmer at the University of California Irvine and is a member of the “Portland Power” Aussie rules football club.  In his spare time he enjoys surfing, tennis and playing the piano.
