Craig Zimmerman

I have been practicing law since 1993.  I am admitted to pratice law in New York, New Jersey, and California.  I earned my L.L.M. in taxation from the University of San Diego in 1993. 

While my legal career has been mainly focused on representing debtors and consumers who are experiencing financial difficulties, I spent 8 years as an in-hosue attorney several major companies including 6 years working for auto finance companies.  As a result, I understand both sides of the law which dramatically helps when representing my clients.

I have spoken numerous times on various issues involving consumer issues including several on the dischargeability of student loans in bankruptcy and how to nagivate the administrative world of federal student loans.  I have also spoken to parents of graduating high school students about waht really happens with your student loans when college graduation comes in an effort to keep the parents and their kids out of trouble.
