David Paul Lee

As a partner specializing in banking, commercial, creditors rights, corporate, employment, business, and litigation matters, David has more than 33 years of experience in representing business and individual clients across a broad spectrum of disciplines. He represents business clients involving their general business matters including those related to corporate, commercial contracts, employment, tax, and trade secrets and unfair competition, transportation issues, business and commercial litigation, as well as purchases and sales of businesses and real estate and construction matters (representing both owners and contractors); corporate finance; lending, financing and leasing transactions; and environmental issues. His practice also includes the representation of financial institutions in their lending and creditors rights, corporate, regulatory, commercial, operational and litigation matters.

David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California at Irvine, and his law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He has been a member of the Orange County Bar Association, where he has been a member of the Real Estate Section, the Financial Practices Section and the Business and Corporate Law Section (of which he is a Past Chair). He is a member of the Business and, Real Estate Law Sections of the State Bar of California. He also is a Past President of the Orange County Financial Society.

David began his practice in 1982 with the firm of Thelen, Marrin, Johnson and Bridges. During his two years with that firm, he primarily practiced in the litigation area, while also practicing in the business and transactional areas. In 1984, he joined Urland, Morello, Dunn & Maynard where he practiced primarily in the general business, real estate, corporate and litigation areas until 1991. In 1991 he joined Voss, Cook & Thel, where he worked in those areas as a partner until the March 1, 1994 formation of Lee & Keary
