The "good Guy" lawyer...

Robert has successfully and mindfully represented my legal matters for well over the past 30 years. A solid performer and genuinely great person, Robert has defended me in various cases involving work related (wrongful termination - salary - compensation disputes) and personal injury (auto related a...ccident - insurance) cases. His work ethic, communication skills, ability to explain situations in "layperson" terms, expertise, tenacity, patience, follow-up and successful results say it all for me. He has been an exceptional partner in all of my legal battles with wins that are fair and justified. I have recommended Robert to many friends, family and colleagues over the years...each one of my referrals has reached out and thanked me as they too were pleased with his work and representation.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 1979.

Public reproval issued in CA, 1979

updated on 10/23/2017

Public reproval means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Robert’s comment:

“I have not been disciplined for any conduct as an attorney. Before I took the State Bar Exam in February, 1975, I was accused of trespassing. I paid a $500 fine, and the case was dismissed, the file was sealed, and the matter had nothing to do with the practice of law.”

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
