Lack of Professionalism and Quality Services

Without reservation, I do not recommend the services of Mr. Evans. During my dealings with him regarding my Chapter 13 case, I found it very difficult to contact him as he was unresponsive to my phone calls, not very competent of bankrutpcy law and was not very professional. In my 2-3 meeting with hi...m after I have paid my initial fee, he always requested additional monies. The first time I filed, Mr. Evans was selected based on a recommendation from a friend and this prove to be disasterous. After I first met with him and paid my retainer fee, I had to contantly call his office for updates regarding my case and deal with his paralegals who were overwhelmed and completed my documentation incorrectly. This was evident as during my meeting of creditors, the trustee and Mr. Evans exchanged words, mainly over his lack of detail to my case. My plan payment increased over $1000.00 which was a shock and disappointing considering all the time, effort and money I put into the case. About a year into my case, I received a letter from him stating that he was leaving the profession due to an unexpected illness only to find out that he was on the run for accepting retainer fees from other clients and not providing quality services. Based on the above related information, I recommend that you aviod any contact with Mr. Evans.

No follow up - unprofessional

Not happy with this lawyer. His office was unresponsive after my initial contact & payment was received. I had to hire additional lawyer to complete my case.
