Fred J. Knez

Mr. Knez has been involved in probate litigation for many years on behalf of beneficiaries and trustees. These cases require aggressive investigation and discovery to protect against the waste of valuable trust assets and Mr. Knez is committed to making those efforts on behalf of his clients.

Over the years, Mr. Knez has handled business litigation cases for both plaintiffs and defendants including corporate disputes, unfair competition, predatory pricing, contract disputes, real estate disputes and insurance bad faith. Mr. Knez has assisted client’s in drafting contracts, negotiating the purchase or sale of a business and mediating disputes to avoid the expense of litigation.

Mr. Knez is very pleased with the results he has obtained over the years in handling employment cases. His first million dollar verdict as a trial lawyer was in a wrongful termination case entitled Holzman v. Dynachem. He has prosecuted public policy violation cases like Garibaldi v. Lucky Food Stores, Inc., 726 F.2d 1367 (9th Cir. 1984) and discrimination cases based on age, sex, disability as well as sexual harassment cases.
