William Felix

This really happened and is a real review. My experience was with attorney William Felix who had recently been admitted to the CA State Bar in 2022. Despite the outcome, I questioned whether the attorney was confident in handling my case because it did not appear he was given the lack of zealous re...presentation or preparation, just to name a few. Initially, attorney Clinton Chan, who had 18 years experience, was assigned to my case. Then my case was transferred to an attorney with less than 3 years of litigation experience. Had I known this, I would have never proceeded with this attorney and would have asked for representation by the original attorney. Communication was very poor and several calls had to be made before either of the attorney's actually called back. 24 hours before my court hearing, my case was transferred to another attorney, whom I never met, but only spoke to on the phone. Though my case was minor to them, it was major to me and the handling of my case was a clear indication of that. It seems since my case was not a serious felony it did not receive the attention, time, I was not given option to call witnesses, and research that could have been performed was not. I get it, it was not a murder case, where my freedom was at stake, but it was still a case that warranted proper attention. Despite providing detailed information about the facts surrounding my case, the attorney did not articulate it during the hearing. Opposing counsel and the witnesses got away with very unethical behaviors, and very little objections were made. Working in this field, I have seen what it looks like when an attorney is properly prepared and represents their client zealously. I pray I never experience anything like this anymore. To anyone reading this, please please do your research on attorney's that you hire. It is very important and could make or break your case. The only concern after 48hrs was the negative Yelp review. It is important that customers/clients are aware of the service other customers/clients have been subjected to.
