Probation on a First Degree Burglary

Client was facing five active cases. Two of the cases were felony burglaries (one of them a first degree burglary), the remainder were drug related. Aside from the active cases, client only had one ... misdemeanor conviction. Despite the fact that client was in his early 20's, the District Attorney was seeking a 6 year prison sentence. Ultimately, client plead to the court at preliminary hearing and received a formal probation offer with a condition that he completed a 6 month drug rehab program.
