Biography
Formerly a partner at Bohm, Matsen, Kegel & Aguilera, LLP, an Orange County law firm known for providing clients with sophisticated representation in diverse areas of practice, Ms. Fouladi returned to the public sector in the Fall of 2011 as a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. She is admitted to practice in Federal District Court (Central District) and in all of the state courts of California.
With a 24 year trial and litigation background, predominately as a criminal defense litigator, Ms. Fouladi expanded her field of practice in 2007 to include civil litigation matters, joining BMKA in 2007. While at BMKA, Ms. Fouladi provided representation in class action cases - primarily wage and hour controveries. She also provided represention in the area of legal malpractice and general civil litigation, including appellate matters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Fouladi has served on numerous non-profit boards of directors, including the Orange County Bar Association Board of Directors, is a past-president of the South Orange County Bar Association, and is a past president of a South Orange County municipal association. She has been active in Orange County Bar and Trial Lawyer Associations and has regularly served as a volunteer temporary judge at the Orange County Superior Court. She has served the Orange County community as an arbitrator for the Orange County Bar Association, presiding over attorney-client fee dispute arbitrations, and as a legal analyst and comentator on television. Recently, in 2011, she served as vice-president for the Newport-Harbor Bar Association.
In the Spring of 2011, Judith had the honor and privilege of being appointed by the Orange County Superior Court as a Superior Court Referee, presiding over high volume traffic arraignment and trial calendars at the Harbor and West Justice Centers. When the position terminated due to funding constraints, Ms. Fouladi joined the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor crimes in the Eastern Division of Riverside County, including state prison crimes. Effective May, 2014, Ms. Fouladi has joined the Riverside County Superior Court as a Court Hearing Officer.
