I hired mr Exum for my criminal case. He was very rude to me. His communication was horrible. He’d say he’d call me never would. He even at one point told me to find a new attorney and hung up in my face after I paid half of my retainer fee. He moved my court dates without my knowledge. I don’t feel ...as if he really fought for me considering my case was a weak one and I’ve never been in trouble. I walked away with a felony and I’m only 24 years old. He also left me after I was convicted in court to figure everything out on my own. He wasn’t trying to help me win he just wanted to get a plea deal and be content with himself. Find a better attorney.

I hired Mr. Exum due to criminal charges against me. I learned with him to never again pay some one completely before getting what you paid for. After paying him I never saw him, or talked with him till court days. He wasn’t reachable by phone, I left numerous messages. There were two occasions w...ere I’m sitting in court and his secretary came and told me he wouldn’t be there. That some one else would be standing in for him. It got to the point that dealing with him was worse than the case it’s self. They were charging me with four felonies strikes. I was looking at ten years in prison. After dealing with him for nine months I hired a real lawyer. I ended up with work release, and informal probation. In my gut where I live I feel he had given up and was going to make a deal for me to do time. I wouldn’t recommend, refer, or hire him.
