I had a complex mold problem involving owner interior modifications and external roof leaks in a ski resort condominium. It resulted in a significant difference of opinion as to the cause between me and the HOA board. Ed was recommended to me by a neighbor condo owner who knew of Ed's experience... in building construction, mold, and condominium ownership, and had employed him in the past. In addition to the complex issues presented by the interior construction and roof design, Ed also understood the details of the HOA insurance and HOA liabilities. After lengthy discussions and correspondence between the various involved parties, Ed was able induce the HOA insurance company to completely reimburse me for all of my expenses without reservation. Even though the HOA board had insisted throughout that the mold problem was caused only by my interior modifications, the final resolution tacitly disputed that. In the end everyone involved was "completely satisfied." Ed handled the entire process very professionally, with great aplomb and competence. Also, he is a very nice person to deal with, and I would highly recommend him in the future.

It's not often that I would give a five-star review to someone. The choices are Trustworthy...yes,...completely...Responsive...without a doubt....knowledgeable...to a fault....kept me informed....always. I would like to find fault with Mr. Cross on some level, but it's difficult to do so, so I ...won't. I've had the pleasure of using Cross & Assoc. for the last 5-6 years. They have worked on more than a dozen cases for my company with overall very satisfactory results. In some cases, they have literally pulled off legal miracles (one case the entire contract was crossed out and initialed and he still got it paid in full) and in other difficult ones, they got the best results we could reasonably expect. Ed's knowledge of the industry I am in (Disaster Restoration) is truly remarkable. As far as I know, he is the only attorney in the country who specializes in this field....and it shows. In some cases, it's wise to retain Ed simply for the fact that you don't want him on the other side of the table. Not a good place to be.. In summary, his ethics, skills, knowledge, work habits and ability to effectively communicate and outline legal situations in a cogent and concise manner are fantastic. I feel very confident taking his advice and I almost always do. I have mentioned this to others...the one drawback with Ed is that he is so enjoyable to speak with it's easy to forget that one is on the clock. Highly recommended.
