Jennifer L. Cone

Jennifer L. Cone joined the Law Offices of Sarah T. Schaffer in 2018. While Ms. Cone has been in practice since 2013, she brings a wealth of institutional knowledge that far surpasses many young attorneys. As the daughter of two Family Law attorneys in Silicon Valley, she was surrounded by the unique issues and complex emotions of Family Law from a young age.

Ms. Cone is passionate about helping families in transition and providing thoughtful advocacy to all of her clients. Ms. Cone has experience in all areas of Family Law and is currently assisting clients in custody, support, property division and post-judgment litigation. While utilizing her years of experience, Ms. Cone prides herself on providing advice and representation that is tailored to the specific client’s needs, family dynamics and goals.

 Ms. Cone graduated from Santa Clara Law School in 2012 on the Dean’s List and earned the top marks in four of her classes including Family Law and Domestic Violence classes. She also served as an Extern for the Honorable Ronald M. Whyte of the United States District Court where she gained valuable insights in the practice of law at the District level.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Sarah T. Schaffer, Ms. Cone worked for pre-eminent Family Law firms in the Silicon Valley and handled high conflict litigation involving custody, support and property division. She further gained experience with complex financial matters and serving high asset clients including issues of allocation of stock options, separate property interests in real property and support awards.
