In my experience, people with unreasonable expectations are naturally going to be dissatisfied. This review clearly stands out from the others because it is not representative nor even accurate. Unfortunately, online reviews permit people to leave even inaccurate reviews. Without disclosing privileged information, I can provide the following clarification because I reached out to this former client to offer to assist with their disappointment, but the former client did not even respond. This reviewer notes that the judge found them to be not credible, and by the sheer exaggeration of this review, it is evident why. The client admitted to not having read the engagement agreement before signing it or to understanding how a retainer works. The representation lasted nearly a year, thus the allegation that all of the retainer money was "blown" in a day does not make sense. It also was not a hearing, but only a status conference. I assisted this client to prepare for the status conference to represent themselves AFTER representation had been terminated and at NO COST, and this client did not heed my instructions nor listen to the court's instructions. It is no wonder the client is not satisfied, but this person would rather leave a scathing review of me than permit me to assist with the dissatisfaction.
