My practice focuses on helping clients protect their intellectual property rights. This includes helping them draft and obtain U.S. and International patents. I have been drafting patents for over 10 years now, starting as a patent agent in 2004, and continuing as a patent attorney after getting my law degree.

With more than 10 years of industry experience as a Senior Research Scientist and Systems Engineer at both large and small high tech companies, I fully understand how the inventors think, and also appreciate the business aspects of intellectual property rights for small businesses and large corporations.

The technology areas that I am most involved in include wireless technologies, medical devices, optics, digital rights management, software and electronics.

Part of my practice also focuses on patent due diligence and patent analysis for corporate financing, investments and mergers and acquisitions. I also prepare and conduct post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent Office including inter partes review (IPR), post-grant review (PGR), covered business method (CBM) review and patent reexamination.
