As a business owner myself, I understand the needs of my clients:  to achieve the desired result by the most effecient and cost effective means.  I do not want to waste your time, or money.  Being involved in legal matters is hard enough, you should not have an attorney that contributes to your stress.   

I have enjoyed representing many different types of clients over the last 15 years, whether it is large corporations or other entities, small business owners, or individuals who have come to be with smaller, but just as signficant, legal issues.  I remain close with past clients; something for which I am very proud.   I enjoy helping people resolve problems, big or small, and I strive to break down the stereotype of the "lawyer joke."   I always treat my clients with respect.   At the same time, I don't hold back on telling clients my honest opinions, even if I know it is not what they want to hear.  That is an attorney's job and you should expect that, and nothing less, from yours.

Originally from a small town in Washington state, I have now lived in San Diego for almost 25 years.   I enjoy being outdoors and hiking the many mountains that San Diego County has to offer.   I often travel to Seattle where my son lives after graduating from Western Washington University.
