WhenI retained Dimitry as my lawyer, he seemed great over the phone, so we signed a contract based on prepaid trust account. I thought I could trust him and there wouldn’t be invoices regarding attorneys fees without prior explanation. Everything went fine until I learned that Dimitry was playing ver...y much his own game behind my back. Although I received emails from him constantly, he was hiding a few important things regarding my case. When I found out, I asked via email what was going on and his attitudes changed immediately. He didn’t take any responsibility and I started to receive rude emails from him. I fired him and asked a refund but he ignored my request. Furthermore, when he found out that I was going to fire her, she emailed me a fake invoice despite our ‘prepaid’ contract. I filed a complaint The State Bar and retained a new attorney.
