Joel Larabee

I contacted Joel after an employment matter that I felt was wrongful and that caused me a tremendous amount of anxiety and trauma. I immediately found Joel to be professional and compassionate. I can’t begin to tell you enough how comforting Joel was throughout the entire process. When Joel began to work with my prior employer to gain resolution on the matter, they showed how ugly and low they were from the very beginning. Time and time again he would reassure me that this is how these matters go and they will do everything and anything they can to get out of their terrible actions, lie, blame and cheat – that’s what happens. He even was apologetic that he didn’t explain how ugly employers get in these situations, especially when they are wrong and they know it. He always had a way of making me feel that everything was going to be okay and I felt safe that he was in control of the entire situations. His advice was always honest and in my best interest. I can’t stress that enough, I have never met an attorney who had the interest of his client before their own. He showed me a side of law that I had never seen before. Compassion, empathy, intelligence and strength – he made the whole process as simple as possible and with the least amount of stress and anxiety. Several times throughout the process he would say, “Don’t worry, I have your back”… and he did.
