Employment Lawyer for Severance Neogitation/Agreement

I worked with Chandler on a recent employment matter and had an excellent experience throughout the process. Chandler was patient, thorough, strategic, and highly communicative from start to finish. He took the time to clearly explain every step, outline potential paths forward, and make sure I un...derstood the implications of each decision. I never felt left in the dark. He was organized, responsive, and consistently aligned with my goals and interests throughout the engagement. What stood out most was his willingness to advocate firmly on my behalf while still remaining practical and thoughtful in his approach. He developed a clear step-by-step strategy, adjusted when needed, and helped navigate a stressful process with confidence and professionalism. If you’re looking for an employment attorney who is detail-oriented, communicative, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for their client, I would highly recommend Chandler and the team at Gietzen, PC.

Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Negligent. Don't waste your time like Chandler wasted mine

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to this firm with a clear timeline: a demand letter needed to go out to stay a retaliatory meeting. The attorney agreed to the timeline, and I signed the retainer a week ago. Instead of working on the case, they missed the Friday deadline, the Monday morni...ng backup deadline, and then ignored my calls for clarification. After I politely reminded them of the urgency, they finally sent a payment link at the last possible second. When I asked to see the draft I had been waiting a week for before funding the trust, they 'resigned' via email 15 minutes before my deadline. This wasn't about the money—I was ready to pay. This was about an attorney who clearly hadn't started the work and used a payment link delay (caused by his own office) as an excuse to bail when he couldn't meet the deadline. He wasted a week of my time and left me to face my employer alone. Complete lack of ethics.

David, I appreciate your feedback, however I want to clarify a few things about your review, including the fact that you were never a client. You waited until the following week after we initially met to sign the Retainer Agreement, which was conditioned on receiving a deposit from you. While I tried to be professional and non-accusatory in the email you reference, the payment link was also in the onboarding documents you received after our first meeting. The fact that you were "ready to pay" is also not true, as you expressly conditioned making payment on receiving a draft of work you had yet to pay for. As such, I cannot work for free and your insistence on receiving work product before making a deposit, per the Retainer Agreement you signed, made it so I could not move forward with representing you. As far as the “deadlines” we committed to, those were agreed to assuming you signed on quickly rather than the following week. Further, you did not advise me of this deadline until the business day prior, at which point my schedule had changed. Calling my office and bombarding me with emails when I am attending to other matters is not "confirmation" that we could meet your last minute deadline that we never agreed to. Finally, I'd note that the identified scope of representation we agreed to materially differed from what you ultimately wanted us to do. Again, thank you for considering my office and I hope you get the legal counsel you need.
