Carly Surber Maganuco

Carly Surber Maganuco is an attorney with the San Diego Elder Law Center. She is a native San Diegan and graduated from San Diego State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her undergraduate studies, she was a proud member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. Carly went on to attend and graduate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Ms. Maganuco is an experienced and compassionate elder law attorney, advocating for the needs of elders, the disabled, their families and their caregivers, whether in a crisis or through advanced planning. Ms. Maganuco has experience in Medi-Cal and public benefits planning, asset preservation, conservatorships, trust & estate planning, special needs trusts and planning, probate administration and trust administration. She limits her practice to these areas. Ms. Maganuco serves the community as a Court-Appointed Attorney for the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego. Ms. Maganuco often speaks to professional and lay groups on topics concerning Elder and Special Needs Law and public benefits planning. Ms. Maganuco is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD), and the Elder Law and Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate sections of the San Diego County Bar Association.
