Margaret Kay Herring

I have been working in the legal profession since 1989 when my father asked me to be a temporary two week receptionist while his receptionist went on vacation. That temporary job turned into the firm's full time paralegal. In 2003, I enrolled in lawschool, attending classes in the evening while I continued to work as the firm's paralegal. In 1996, I graduated lawschool and passed the bar, becoming an attorney for the firm. In 2003, my father's and I became partners and changed the firm name to Herring & Herring, APC. My father and I have been working together for 26+ years. Imagine, a temporary job assignment in 1989 has lasted this long!
