Needless to say I was skeptical (with attorneys in general) because I have had a family attorney before and paid excessively to have my attorney do nothing but roll over and give into whatever was proposed by the opposition. Kelli has been representing me and my family since December 2019, after a false restraining order was filed. Even though Kelli was scheduled to be off for the holidays, Kelli readily took the case because she knew it was an emergency, and incredibly important for us to have competent counsel. At the ...first hearing, Kelli convinced the Court that the restraining order was predicated on malicious falsehoods; the Court denied opposing counsels request to set the hearing out for 6 months. Kelli convinced the Court to give us a hearing, just two weeks later, but right before Christmas. This completely interfered with Kelli's vacation, but she canceled her plans to help us. Opposing counsel saw how fierce Kelli was and immediately resigned from the case. Kelli appeared at the evidentiary hearing prepared, and ready. She knew every fact of the case, and every lie claimed by the opposing party. She was incredibly knowledgable in our case and our facts that she sharply cited to our evidence without ever looking down at the numbers. She beat the first restraining order, and we were able to see our children again. Kelli then represented us at a custody modification, which she won, knocking the opposing party from 50/50 to 6 hours of supervised visitation per week. Kelli then filled a motion to recuperate our attorneys fees, the Court Ordered the opposing party to pay $10,225 in attorneys fees - we asked for $10,225, the Court Ordered the fees paid entirely by the opposing party. After months of harassment by the opposing party, Kelli helped us get a DVTRO against her, the Court granted a 3 year permanent Restraining Order against her to protect us. I could not be any more blessed to have Kelli as my attorney. In the last year that she has represented us she has won every hearing, she has never failed to respond to our concerns or our questions. Day, night, and even when she is on "vacation" Kelli never failed to respond to us; her responses came within minutes. Her professionalism and dedication to my case has brought me stability for my children and peace for my family. Kelli is truly remarkable at what she does for her clients. I found Kelli through Brook Olson, another good resource, after I was having constant problems with my ex then was served a temporary restraining order. I interviewed several lawyers and appreciated her straight forward, no nonsense approach. She presented me with a plan of how to approach the TRO an...d defend myself. One of the biggest things I appreciated working with Kelli is communication. Kelli responds back in a very timely manner whether through text, email or a phone call. This gave me the assurance she was there to take care of the problem. Kelli did a great job of getting me prepared for court and what to expect. We appeared in court, she put the plan into action and got the TRO dropped.
