With past experience advising a local public agency and representing private interests at a large law firm, I am able to spot the issues that matter most, implement solutions, and manage the competing priorities and interests between public agencies, development, agriculture, and land conservation.  Utilizing innovative and implementable solutions, I can provide straightforward advice on land use, zoning, and the environment.

I graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine School of Law where I also served as an editor for the Pepperdine Law Review.  Prior to serving as the managing attorney at Grid Legal, I worked for the County of San Diego where I advised on a variety of complex legal issues pertaining to CEQA, land use, zoning, and the Endangered Species Act. I also have experience as a litigator which I gained at the international law firm of DLA Piper in Los Angeles. While at DLA Piper, I represented large corporationas and private individuals on matters pertaining to investments, funding, regulatory compliance, and privacy.

 A native of Canada turned San Diegan, I love to jog, camp, and travel.
