Daniel S. Castaneda was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, from Michigan State University, a Masters Degree in International Relations from Alliant International University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Since 2011 Daniel has represented hundreds of Latinos in immigration, criminal and civil matters. These include, people facing deportation, drug smuggling charges, unlicensed contractor suits and landlord tenant disputes. His experience in federal, state and appellate courts has given him the knowledge to adequately represent individuals facing difficult legal matters. Knowledge of the Spanish language and Latino cultural values helps him relate with his clients to provide representation they can understand.

I highly recommend Daniel Castaneda as an immigration attorney. He assisted and guided my brother, who has disabilities, through the entire application processes for naturalization. He is approachable, flexible, honest and easy to work with. We were able to call him anytime. If we had a question or any confusion he always provided us with guidance and answers. Because of him my brother could proudly say he is a US Citizen.

My name is Luis Martinez, I want to start off with saying that Daniel Castaneda is a great lawyer, I consulted with him/ hired him back in June of 2021, he has been really helpful and responsible throughout the entire case. He showed up on time to all my court dates. He also assured me that everything would be okay and it has been up to this point. He is a very trustworthy person, he took care of all paperwork and all my files and through great communication kept me updated. Now we are in March of 2022 and we were able to get a great deal on my case, couldn’t be anymore thankful. I would recommend Daniel Castaneda to anyone.

Excellent criminal defense attorney!
Mr. Castaneda has been nothing but amazing. He helped us with a DUI case and guided us from the first time we spoke- even before officially retaining. He gave us tips and pointers that had not even crossed out minds and that was extremely helpful in the resolution of the case. The outcome achieved was great and the communication has also been superb. He is really approachable and doesn't make you feel awkward for asking anything. He has his clients' best interest in mind, which can be hard to find.

Excellent service!
I am a general contractor here in San Diego, I hired Mr. Castañeda to help in a construction issue I had in 2019. He took my case and began working on my case immediately and without hesitation. He followed the progress on my case closely and kept me informed along the way. Thanks to him we avoided court and even got me a settlement check. Mr. Castañeda is honest and a hard worker.
