James Bruce Henderson

First let me say that I was raised by a father who earned his law degree when I was very young. Over the years he became a builder and land developer. In my teens he became a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar and was sent by the Federal Housing Administration to Ethiopia to negotiate, wi...th then Emperor Haille Salasai, for permission to build a low cost housing development, using Ethiopian workers, in order to teach them how to build such a housing development themselves. Over the years I've heard many stories from my father about law, attorneys and litigants and all my life he impressed upon me the value and importance of fairness and honesty. Though I had the opportunity, I did not follow in my father's footsteps as an attorney. I've worked in the building trades for close to 30 years. I am now a professional Handyman and have helped Bruce and his wife Jane with odds and ends around their home as needed for quite a few years now. I have always found Bruce to be a pleasant, honest and exceptionally fair minded man. From the chats we've had together over the years, I've found his values focus not on what's best for the few but, on what's best for the community. I can also speak for Bruce professionally. Thought not his area of expertise, I found myself caught up in Family Court matters and called on Bruce for his professional advice. He provided me with insight and advice which proved invaluable in handling of those matters. Let it be known that I take pride in the quality of my work and strive to always give quality, even when it costs me to do so. Honesty and integrity are paramount to me. I don't expect praise where praise is not due, nor do I give it. With this known, I hold Bruce Henderson's values in high regard and view him as an exceptional human being.
