Meagan M Nunez

Meagan has been advocating for my daughter and supporting my family for more than 4 years now. Meagan has been by my side through numerous IEP meetings, due processes and complicated situations with the school district. She has been encouraging me and providing me with honest counsel, as well as init...iating effective and appropriate legal action, to make sure that my daughter gets what she deserves and what she is entitled to. Thanks to Meagan, my daughter, now a high schooler, continues to receive a full range of services that she needs to succeed at school, and become as independent as she can with her disability. Meagan is a devoted and caring person, (she is a mother herself), who is passionate about helping children with different abilities, as well as helping their parents navigate the waters of Special Education and take the routes that are most beneficial for the whole family. Meagan is always responding to my emails and her team will always schedule a phone call for me to go over my concerns. Meagan has given me quite a bit of her personal time as well, during very stressful situations, which I greatly appreciate. I admire Meagan’s perseverance, persistence, as well as realistic strategic approach to getting her clients what they need. She has never misled me and has always been open with me during our consultations. You will appreciate Meagan’s soft spoken manner and her zealous step by step approach to supporting your child’s rights for appropriate education.

My daughter has an IEP, and the high school she attended was very difficult to work with. Ms. Nunez was extremely helpful finding me an IEP consultant, and answering all my legal questions. The high school also owed me money, and Ms. Nunez was excellent in helping me get my money back. The IEP proc...ess is a complex, legal process - and Ms. Nunez did a great job guiding us through it. I was even able to get the high school to pay most of Ms. Nunez's legal fees! Also - the previous Education Attorney I hired was terrible, and I had to fire her in the middle of an unfinished job. Ms. Nunez was such a breath of fresh air after that bad experience. I highly recommend Ms. Nunez!
