Kelly Degraw McCaffrey Combs

I was born and raised in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach area and am intimately familiar with all the local communities that make Southern California unique. I pusued my undergraduate education in Northern California where I graduated from California State University, Chico with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and minor in sociology. Immediately upon graduating from CSU Chico, I attend law school in Jacksonville, Florida at Florida Coastal School of Law. I enjoyed all my classes at Florida Costal however I excelled in contracts and adoption law. I was an active member of the American Bar Association, Student Bar Association and Sports Law Society. While in law school I also worked in three Florida law firms that specialized in criminal defense and civil litigation. At these firms I honed the skills necessary to manage and market a law firm. Upon my return to California, I sat for the California bar and, after passing at the first sitting, worked at several local law firms that specialized in civil litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy laws.  I am active in the community and am a member of the Lawyer’s Club of San Diego as well as the San Diego Bar Association. I believe I bring a superior set of organizational and research skills to the legal arena. My aggressive, yet friendly, style has resulted in numerous settlements for a variety of civil, family and criminal cases.
