Alejandra Rodriguez

Alejandra Rodriguez attended the University of San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Psychology in 1998.

Ms. Rodriguez attended California Western School of Law, where she was ranked in the top 10% of her class and graduated cum laude. She was a member of Law Review and her article entitled, "Is the War on Terrorism Compromising Civil Liberties? A Discussion of Hamdi and Padilla," was published in the California Western Law Review Journal.  While attending Cal Western, Ms. Rodriguez served as a legal intern in immigration law at Casa Cornelia, and later as a judicial extern to Justice Judith Haller for the California Court of Appeal.  Prior to starting her law practice, Ms. Rodriguez worked as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Roger L. Hunt, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

In practice since 2004, attorney Alejandra Rodriguez speaks fluent Spanish.  In 2008 she was named "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year" by the National Latina Business Women Association.  The following year in 2009, she was named as a San Diego Daily Transcript Top Attorney Semi-Finalist.  Ms. Rodriguez is also a license real estate broker, which adds additional value to the services she provides to clients.

Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, La Raza Lawyers Association, MANA de San Diego, and National Latina Business Women Association.  She served on the board of directors for National Latina Business Women Association from 2008 until 2011. Ms. Rodriguez has participated as a mentor with MANA de San Diego's Hermanitas' Program since 2008.  In addition, Ms. Rodriguez has participated in free legal clinics organized by the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.
