Trisha Louise Stone

Trisha L. Cozad Stone is an Associate of Klinedinst PC, and a vital member of its Transportation and Employment Law practice groups. During her years of practice, she has successfully defended companies, institutions and individuals in all phases of litigation involving a wide array of legal issues, including premises liability, product liability, professional negligence, employment, business litigation, construction, and contract claims.

Descending from a long line of successful entrepreneurs, Ms. Stone literally grew up in the transportation industry, and has been able to put her family's experience in running a large multinational corporation to work for her clients. She has litigated and resolved disputes involving claims of catastrophic loss, product liability, wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, defamation, breach of contract and unpaid wages.

Ms. Stone obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law. She received her B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Sociology, with emphasis in Law & Society, from the University of California, Davis. 

While attending law school, Ms. Stone served as a legal intern for the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office. She also worked as a summer associate for a civil defense firm in San Diego. Before attending law school, she also worked for the Federal Defender's Office in Sacramento, CA and the Department of Justice in Washington, DC.

A Northern California native, Ms. Stone is a member of the American Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association, and frequently appears in both state and federal courts.
