Steve Lopez is an excellent writer, an effective courtroom advocate and very knowledgeable. He has helped me out in several difficult cases having to do with wrongful foreclosures. Steve is on the cutting edge of the law in that area and is one of the few attorneys nationwide that really understand... the subject.

Steve Lopez has been our family lawyer for approximately fifteen years, representing us in a car accident, dealing with a mortgage situation and a severe hand injury at work. I first met Stephen about six years ago. I wish I had met him fifty years ago as Stephen is the guy that you would first want as your friend, regardless of whether you may need legal representation or not. Stephen will never give you false expectations. However, coming the time he will -legally- f...ight for your case "to the death". And when the legal fight starts Stephen will surprise you day after day with his resourcefulness and insight. There is no question that Stephen is a very seasoned litigator, he surely knows his ways in, out and around the courtrooms. One of the things that fascinates me about the way Stephen practices law is the fact that he does not care who is the party and/or legal counsel on "the other side(s)" of the fight. It could be another small practitioner, as he is, or it could be a multinational firm staffed with 3,000 lawyers; none of that makes any difference to Stevie (oops! did I just call him Stevie? I meant to say Stephen F. Lopez, Esq. :-) ). Stephen just focuses on the facts and the law as it applies to the facts of the case at hand. Knowledge, experience, expertise, integrity and honesty are words that only begin to describe who Stephen is as a lawyer but, more importantly, who Stephen is as a human being. Over the last six years Stephen has assisted me, some of my family members and some of my business partners in various different matters. Every time, without fail, Stephen delivered for us seriously above and beyond any reasonable expectations. The "REVIEW GUIDELINES" of this post mandate that a person posting a review, as I am now doing, should be specific as to what the "lawyer did (or failed to do) with your case". In trying to comply with the posting guidelines I make the following specific comment: supposedly back in 2010 a mega-sized bank foreclosed on one of the properties that I own. In 2011 the same monster-sized bank filed an unlawful detainer complaint against me and that case was tried also in 2011. Stephen prevailed and obtained a judgement in my favor. Not happy with its 2011 loss in year 2012 the same mega-sized bank filed another unlawful detainer against me. Once again Stephen tried my case and once again he obtained a judgment for me. As I write this it is mid 2015 and I am still in possession of the real property. Do I need to add anything? I didn't thing so either.
