Excellent Attorney

Our family first met Mr. Hughes due to an elder abuse situation with our dad. Mr. Hughes remained his attorney until his death seven years later. He worked hard for us and always gave us his undivided attention wether in person, by phone or email. We loved that he had such a heart and desire for j...ustice. He wholeheartedly listened to our concerns. We would highly recommend his services.

BE PREPARED TO BE PASSED DOWN THE LINE!

We met with Mr. Hughes and hired him for an Issue with a trustee for a family trust. Mr. Hughes passed our case on to a junior associate. Before we were done our case was transferred to 3 different associates and each time we were charged for the new associate to become familiar with our case. ...We were working with one associate for a period of time and she was apathetic, rude and we had to repeat the details of our case to her many times. We complained to Mr. Hughes and he said he would oversee the case, but did not. The day before court the Jr. attorney passed our case on to yet another attorney who was unfamiliar with our case, with out even letting us know. We showed up to court and the new attorney fumbled through our case so badly that the judge said she was unprepared and needed to reschedule our case to another time. When we complained to Mr. Hughes he said he would resign as our attorney because we could not get along with the attorneys in his firm and according to the contract with him we hired the firm, not him. We thought the list of people in the contract were people he may confer with or use their assistance but did not understand that anyone of them could be substituted for another one at anytime, without our consent or knowledge. Just to be sure we heard the judge right we got a copy of the transcript and it was even worse than we remembered. This was a costly process with out results.
