Rafael Castellanos

Rafael Castellanos practices business law in San Diego as a Partner with Solomon Minton Cardinal Doyle & Smith LLP.  He represents companies and individuals in a variety of business transactions as well as providing general business counsel.  His practice includes, among other areas, structured venture capital transactions; purchases and sales of commercial real estate, business entities, and other commercial assets; real property and equipment leasing; real estate development; secured and non-secured financings; and risk management planning.  Prior to joining Solomon Minton Cardinal Doyle & Smith LLP, Rafael was an associate with Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith LLP in San Diego and before that with Loeb & Loeb LLP in Los Angeles.  He graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2002 as a Cornerstone Scholar, and received a B.A. in History from Arizona State University in 1999.  He is a member of the California State Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Mexican American Business and Professional Association.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and Teach for America - San Diego.
