Nadia Parra Bermudez

With a focus on employment litigation, counseling, and general business litigation, Nadia P. Bermudez has significant litigation and trial experience in employment matters such as sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, defamation, trade secrets, and a wide range of other matters. In addition, Ms. Bermudez regularly advises public and private employers on all aspects the employment relationship, from the pre-employment process to the final separation of employment. While counseling employers on best practices, policies and human resources issues, Ms. Bermudez keeps clients informed on developments in state and federal employment law. Ms. Bermudez is an experienced trainer in areas such as sexual harassment prevention and other employment topics.

A leader in the legal community, Ms. Bermudez devotes time to serving on a local and national level. She has served as President of San Diego La Raza Lawyers and the Lawyers Club of San Diego. Ms. Bermudez has also recently held leadership roles with the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the San Diego County Bar Association.

Ms. Bermudez has earned numerous awards and accolades for her work and commitment to community service. She has achieved the highest AV®-Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She was recognized in San Diego Super Lawyers® for 2015-2019. Ms. Bermudez has been named a Top Attorney in Labor and Employment by the San Diego Daily Transcript, and was voted Best of the Bar by San Diego Business Journal. Additionally, Mr. Bermudez was one of five attorneys nationally to be chosen as a Top Attorney Under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association. In recognition of her commitment to promoting diversity, The San Diego County Bar Association awarded Ms. Bermudez the Service Award for Diversity in 2014.

A graduate of Stanford University School of Law, Ms. Bermudez received the Frank Baker Belcher Award for Outstanding Performance in Evidence. During law school, Ms. Bermudez volunteered with the East Palo Alto Law Project, and served as co-chair of Stanford Latino Law Students Association. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bermudez graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine.
