I attempted to refinance my house several times and was ultimately strung along by the Bank for several months. I was told not to make any payments as they cannot help me unless I was in default. After dealing with the bank for 5 to 6 months they denied my refinance and told me I had to pay $18,000 ...in five days or they would foreclose. The Bank's decision was that it was a rental and would not be eligible for refinancing. I only had a few days to file a Chapter 13 protection and Mr. Steiner was able to go to court and filed the necessary paperwork within 24 hours. I live out-of-state from the bankruptcy court and I only had to go to the San Diego court one time. Mr. Steiner Was able to administrate 99% of my chapter 13 by phone and email saving me a great deal of travel and time. Mr. Steiner has always treated me in a professional manner and most importantly has been prompt with email and text. I have recommended several other clients to his law practice.

I had been delaying my bankruptcy filing for a long time because of several concerns such as having recently moved from another state, being unemployed, not looking for work, the amount of debt I had, etc. After the initial consultation I walked away f...eeling relieved I had found an attorney who had experience in advising clients with all of these issues. Being reassured that my case would be handled well and that I would likely be able to get rid of all my debt gave me the motivation to finally organize my enormous pile of statements and collection notices and fill out the worksheets. The transcription of all of this information onto the official court papers by the attorney was thorough and accurate. I received good coaching regarding any questions that could have been asked at the meeting with the trustee. I was properly referred to the required credit counseling which I was able to complete online. Finally, any questions I've had post-filing have been answered promptly. I'm very satisfied with the legal services that were provided by Mr. Steiner.

So many things to list. Lets start with - slow response time and unorganized. Seemed very annoyed and bothered when helping. He did not submit basic documents to the court which made me look very bad. He would not respond timely to my emails or phone calls. No one should have to wait days for a simp...le reply. He was extremally passive in court and allowed me to fail horribly. He isn't a mean or a rude person, just seems he has too much on his plate and never really cared to help me. I certainly wasn't a priority. Highly recommend someone else.
