I attempted to refinance my house several times and was ultimately strung along by the Bank for several months. I was told not to make any payments as they cannot help me unless I was in default. After dealing with the bank for 5 to 6 months they denied my refinance and told me I had to pay $18,000 ...in five days or they would foreclose. The Bank's decision was that it was a rental and would not be eligible for refinancing. I only had a few days to file a Chapter 13 protection and Mr. Steiner was able to go to court and filed the necessary paperwork within 24 hours. I live out-of-state from the bankruptcy court and I only had to go to the San Diego court one time.
