Maria Rogova, Esq. is the founder of Maria Rogova Family Law, specializing in divorce and family law in San Diego, California.
With a strong legal background and a strategic approach developed through years of competitive chess, Maria offers a unique perspective to her practice. Fluent in Russian and possessing a diverse international background, she is well-equipped to handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, both contested and uncontested divorces, as well as the litigation and negotiation of various divorce-related issues and premarital agreements.
Maria’s journey to law began in Moscow, where she earned her law degree in 2004, and later focused on arbitration and contract law. Her career took her to the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow, where she passionately advocated for her clients' rights. In 2011, Maria moved to the United States with the aim of earning her LL.M. degree, passing the California Bar Exam, and eventually opening her own law firm. Driven by a passion for helping others and a desire to make a meaningful impact Maria accomplished her goals, earning her LL.M. in 2015, obtaining her attorney license in 2018, and founding her law firm in 2019.
With her background in law, economics, and strategic thinking, she offers personalized and comprehensive legal services to clients navigating difficult family law and divorce matters.
