Biography
My background started in 1994 as a Civil Litigation attorney handling a wide variety of insurance defense cases. I then moved onto prosecuting cases for the Federal Government and handled hundreds of drug importation, drug conspiracy, alien smuggling, fraud and other Federal violations. When I left the United States Attorney’s office in 2002, I began handling criminal defense cases throughout California with an emphasis in San Diego and Imperial Counties. I have used my very broad legal background to successfully defend clients in every aspect of the legal process.
I recently handled the defense of an individual involved in the largest cross-border tunnel marijuana conspiracy in California with excellent results for the client. I have also handled the defense in numerous RICO conspiracy matters against various street gangs and other organizations, including successfully defeating a death penalty application by the Federal Government against one of my clients. I will use my experience and familiarity with the criminal process to get the best results possible for every client.
