Lisa is a Top Attorney I highly recommend

I am so grateful for Lisa and her expertise. Lisa is an amazing attorney I highly recommend! I was dealing with two cases and prior to Lisa I had a different lawyer who was doing nothing. I decided to take action and did my research and I am so thankful I came across Lisa Damiani. I did not hesitate ...to hire Lisa not only is she extremely knowledgable but she helps you feel calm during the stress of legal issues. Her ability to provide me mental ease during such times is something I will forever be thankful for. Not only does she know whats she's doing but she has an excellent strategic mind and actually cares about whats best which is quite hard to find. Thanks to the help of Lisa the result of my case was much much better than I would have even imagined and it is now over.

Testimonial

In 2008, I felt lost due to a labor dispute with a major corporation until I met with Ms. Lisa Damiani, Esq. I learned about Lisa from a well-respected partner of a big law firm who told me to contact Lisa since she was, as he noted, “one of the best attorneys he had ever faced.” The moment I met ...Lisa, at the initial consultation, I had felt that she was very different from other attorneys. Lisa patiently listened to my story. She really wanted to help me with my case. Lisa asked me questions and gathered all of the facts. Lisa also explained the law to me in a way that was simple and easy for me to understand. She timely returned my calls. Lisa zealously defended me and successfully negotiated a settlement on my behalf that was far greater economically than I could ever have imagined. I am extremely pleased with Lisa’s expertise as an attorney and the manner in which she practiced law, which led to the successful outcome of my case. To this very day, I feel deeply grateful for Lisa’s help. I recommend Lisa to my family and friends. Lisa is as good as it gets.

Doesn't let the ball drop!

From the Arrest to the trial she and her staff worked on the case as if it was their only one. Walked you thru the case and each faze of the process. Lisa tells you like it is and doesn't sugar coat any part of it! No surprises to deal with. For a stand up Lawyer, you will find no other.

False Hope and Literal Waste of Time

I sought council from Lisa Damiani over wage discrepancy and a potential class action lawsuit against my former employer. During and after our consult I was reassured that she would notify me within one week on whether she would represent me or not. I followed up multiple times reminding her of m...y deadline to bring a suit and received no response. After no response for several weeks I lost the opportunity to move forward with my actions, because of Damiani's inability to respond in a timely matter. However, I received a notice two months after our initial consultation from her firm that she would not be able to take on my case..... I was absolutely dumbfounded as to why she would bother contacting me with this letter after two months of absolutely no outreach. All Lisa Damiani had to to do was tell me initially (or within agreed upon time frame) that she did not have time for my case, which would have afforded me time to find another attorney who actually respected my time. I definitely do not recommend Lisa Damiani to anyone looking for representation.

I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with me. Since this review was posted anonymously, I cannot specifically address your issue. I invite you to contact me at my office so that we can discuss this further. My firm takes time to review your records and conduct additional research to evaluate whether it can and will enter into a contingency fee arrangement (where a fee is collected by the firm only if there is a recovery at the end of the case). Because these types of arrangements, especially a class action suit, require the firm to take on a significant financial burden and risk related to collection of its fees and costs, we tend to take more time evaluating them. Sometimes the review can take two months. However, we are always cognizant of the statute of limitations and advise prospective clients of those limitations. We make sure that we return telephone calls and email messages the same day or within 24 hours and inform prospective clients of our decision on contingency fee cases prior to the statute of limitations running. It is likely that you may still be able to pursue your claims, so I urge you to call me right away. Sincerely, Lisa Damiani.

"I endorse this lawyer's work. Lisa Damiani is one of the few attorneys in San Diego who truly does both civil litigation and criminal defense, rather than just dabbling in one. She is extremely articulate, intelligent and appropriately aggressive. I wouldn't want her on the other side of one of my cases."
