In addition to 9 years as an attorney and 8 years as a real estate broker, I have been a homeowner, residential rental owner, and residential rental property manager in San Diego for more than 10 years.
I am extremely active (road and mountain biking, surfing, scuba diiving, team sports, running, swimming and weight lifting), and I am always looking for an excuse to combine professional networking and development with sports.

Consult with Kyle before you sign the construction contract.
I cannot give Kyle a higher recommendation. He listens and provides excellent legal counsel. I was having legal issues with a construction company building retaining walls in my backyard and he is the person who solved it for me. For anyone planning on having construction done on their property; I...

Unethical behavior; my personal opinion is that he was "bought off" by the opposing attorney
Strong words, I know, and will share specifics with anyone who contacts me. Arbitrated an employment/discrimination case for which I had bullet-proof documentation; he did a complete "about-face" the morning arbitration started and failed to present any of the crucial evidence, including all items he...
The review above misstates my interactions with the client, but as much as I would like to respond with details, my ethical obligation to maintain her communications with me in confidence prohibits me from doing so. However, readers should note the following three (publicly available) facts in evaluating the merits of her "opinion:" (1) This case was tried in the Summer of 2012 (more than three years before this negative review was first posted); (2) The court's public records confirm that I was the second attorney that was hired and fired in this case; and. (3) The court's public records relating to the enforcement of the arbitration award, reflect that there was a monetary recovery in favor of the commentator above, including an award of attorney's fees. Considering the above verifiable information, readers are free to evaluate if they believe the commentator's "opinion" is rational, and whether they wish to consider that "opinion" in deciding to contact me about new cases.. Note: I included this case in my list of "accomplishments" because, despite vigorous defense by a preeminent employment defense firm from the Los Angeles area (Cole Pedroza, LLP), and a defendant (Kaiser Permanente) that is a well known not-for-profit in Southern California, I was able to help the plaintiff overcome a very difficult legal issue that would have eliminated her claims completely (as it had in many other cases against the same defendant), and obtain a monetary recovery that was (in my opinion) substantial. In contrast failure on the contested legal issue would have resulted in a recovery of $0. I am, and will continue to be, proud of the work that I did for this client, despite the client's (unfounded) disappointment in the ultimate amount of the final award.

Best Decision I Could Have Made
I chose Kyle Yaege to represent me in a civil suit after receiving recommendations by some of his other clients. He exceeded my expectations in every way and was able to bring about a very favorable resolution to what was a pretty difficult case. His judgement, advice, knowledge and experience are in...
