Joseph Kelly Seipel

I had never been in trouble with the law before. In fact, I have worked many years in the criminal justice system. A few weeks ago, I was arrested on some accusations that were completely made up and utterly false. After speaking with many law firms around San Diego I was recommended to the law firm ...that Mr. Seipel works for. After my conversation with him I knew that he was someone I could put my faith in. My case was simple yet complex. It involved a criminal arrest and then the city of San Diego added on civil accusations for no reason. I hired Mr. Seipel for the criminal charges but could not afford any help with my civil case. Mr. Seipel took care of the criminal charges and helped guide me along with the many questions that I had regarding the civil accusations that the city of San Diego was alleging against me. No other lawyer would have given me their unpaid time to answer the questions involving that aspect of the case that they were not getting paid for. Yet, Mr. Seipel did. Having worked in criminal justice I got to know countless lawyers and Mr. Seipel sets himself apart from the stereotypical ones that I had encountered before. Not only did he know his job and guide me in the right direction, but he also did so while exuding admirable morals and integrity. I am hurt by the incident and wrongful arrest that I had to endure but I am happy and proud to have been able to interact with Mr. Seipel during its resolution. Joseph is an excellent attorney. He was very approachable, available, and responsive. He made the entire process of obtaining my expungement straight forward and easy. He was also non-judgmental and empathetic while trying to understand my situation and goals for obtaining an expungement. After g...athering the necessary information from me, Joseph put it all together and attended the court date. The process was streamlined, and the result was early termination of probation and expungement. This will be critical in moving my healthcare career forward. Overall it was an excellent experience!
