James Anthony Rolfe

Mr. Rolfe came to practice law via a business school background, and as a result, his practice is primarily transactional and concentrated on the areas of corporate and securities transactional matters. He has been involved in the structuring and documentation of numerous mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing transactions, and complex commercial transactions. His clients range from multi-national corporations to closely held companies representing a diverse range of industries: entertainment and media, transportation, alternative fuel manufacturers, information technology, and telecommunications. Mr. Rolfe also has acted as counsel to companies and boards of directors on corporate governance matters and federal securities law compliance. Additionally, he handles copyright and trademark registrations for the firm.

Mr. Rolfe graduated from California Western School of Law in 1999, received an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1996 and a bachelor's degree from Revelle College at UCSD in 1989. He is a member of the State Bar of California, San Diego Bar Association and American Bar Association. He also is a former member of the Board of Directors for California Western School of Law's Alumni Association. Prior to joining Chachas Law Group, Mr. Rolfe worked at Wenthur & Chachas LLP.
