I had an extremely disappointing experience with Gisela. Throughout my case, I felt that communication was severely lacking—emails and calls often were responsive but lacked substance, leaving me feeling uninformed about the status of my case and I had to ask questions constantly. Also I never receiv...ed all of the communications from the other side as Gisela acted and responded unilaterally at times, which made the case more high conflict than it needed to be. Additionally, the attorney seemed unprepared during court appearances and failed to provide the level of advocacy I expected for such an important matter. I also felt the billing practices were unclear and excessive. I was charged for time spent correcting mistakes the attorney made, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult process. She works long hours apparently (nights and weekends), but you’ll be charged for every single email no matter how unproductive or inefficient it is.
