Heading the firm’s complex litigation practice group, Gayle concentrates her practice on consumer class action, data breach cases and serious personal injury cases. She joined CaseyGerry more than 30 years ago and has become well known for representing injured clients in a wide range of high profile, multi-million dollar cases.

In addition to her extensive experience in personal injury cases and successful mass torts, Gayle has held leadership positions in several data breach Class Actions such as the, Citrix Systems, Sony Gaming Networks, and YAHOO! Data Breach Class Action litigations, where she was the only California attorney to serve on the committee. Gayle has also been involved in the Apple Inc. litigation, the Intel Corp. CPU Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation (“Intel”), the Hydroxycut Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation, and the Incretin Mimetics Product Liability Litigation.

Recently, Gayle worked with CaseyGerry managing partner, David S. Casey, Jr. on several high-profile cases such as the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal litigation which settled for a historic $14.7 billion, and the Wells Fargo Collateral Protection Insurance Class Action Suit.

Over the last decade, Gayle played a distinctive role in a spectrum of national pharmaceutical litigation cases, and cases related to defective hip implants and transvaginal mesh products.

Gayle is highly involved in the community. She is on the Board of Directors for the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, the Board of Trustees for California Western School of Law 2014-present. She is the vice president of the San Diego County Bar Association Foundation, a Board member for the Tom Homann Law Association Foundation, and is in the President’s Club for the Consumer Attorneys of California. She is on the Leader’s Forum for the American Association for Justice, a Sustaining Member of the Lawyers Club of San Diego, and a Sustaining Member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (President, 2007).

Gayle is regarded as one the most respected attorneys in San Diego and has received numerous accolades including: three Outstanding Trial Lawyer Awards from the Consumer Association of San Diego, Best Lawyers in America 2012- present, Best of the Bar, San Diego Business Journal. In 2019 alone she was recognized as one of the Top 50 Influential Professionals by the San Diego Daily Transcript, one of the Top 500 Influential Business Leaders by the San Diego Business Journal, Top 10 Lawyers in San Diego, Top 25 Women Lawyers in San Diego, San Diego’s Top Attorneys by the San Diego Metro, and Law Dragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, among others.
