Edgar Beltran Diaz

Mr. Diaz was my lawyer for two cases. IT was a big divorce and my ex made a restraining order against me. I was surprised at the restraining order and went to see 4 or 5 attorneys.. Mr. Diaz was the only one that seemed to talk to me about the truth, and didn't try to confuse me with legal terms I d...id not understand. He spoke straight and direct. so I hired him. That was best decision since he filed papers immediately in court and sent papers to my ex before the restraining order hearing. We went to the hearing and Mr. Diaz knew everyone in court and explained to me that he would do most of the talking because he had filed some papers called discovery and that they would be the way we would win. The judge asks my ex a couple of questions,and my ex started yellling again and saying all these lies about me hitting her and my children. (my children had been taking away because she filed the temporary restraining order) Mr. Diaz then argued something about the discovery and why she hadn't answered certain questions, and why she was changing her testimoney and finally he caught her in several lies, with my wife just mad and saying she didn't remember or know etc. the judge threw out the restraining order and said my wife had to pay me $500 in attorneys fees. Mr. Diaz always returned my calls and emails and did his job like a professional. He got me everything I wanted from the divorce,, and the most important, my kids, he got me half custody of my kids. a lot of people had told me this couldn't be done because I was a working dad and my ex was only a student, but Mr. Diaz got it, and got my spousal support dismissed because of credits the judge gave me for supporting my wife through school. Mr. Diaz is a great attorney and i would recommend him if you want to win your case. I told Mr. Diaz I would refer him everyone I knew and would write good things about him if he reduced my fee. He just laughed,, but I was kidding it was worth it and I would use his services again if I needed an attorney.

Thank you Ed for your help saving my business. It was a nightmare almost losing my family business of 50 years due to misfiled business and tax forms. Mr. Diaz dealt with the city and fought them in court when they refused to settle and wanted me ro pay a 300k lien for alleged code violations. Mr. ...Diaz quickly files for an extension, got a hearing in front of a great judge who actually got angry at the city of san diego for not correctly filing their own paperwork! Ed promptly asked that the case be rhrown out that same day. (He yelled it). and although the kudge denied that, Ed continue to argue and the judge forced the city to mediate. At mediation a different , very young lawyer from the city showed up not really knwong how to handle Mr. Diaz's arguments. It was as if the city knew it screwed up so they sent in a young lawyer to take the loss. After mediation., Mr. Diaz filed court papers and actually got the full lien extinguished, the full 300k! I will continue to use,Mr. Diaz for any legal problems and feel so relieved that this big problem is done before the new year. Its like a big weight lifted from my chest. It feels great to focus on my business again and to make money and help people. Thank you Ed.

I hired Edgar for my divorce. My ex was a person who always thought he could get away with hiding income, assets, money, and control everything financially. I work, but my ex owned a few business's and when we separated he said that I wouldn't get a cent from him or his business's. a good attorney is worth her/his weight in gold. Mr. Diaz is that attorney. I was injured in a store and Mr. Diaz sued them because they were denying they were responsible. I had serious hip injuries. Mr. Diaz made them pay my medical bills, lost work, and also gave me a sum of money that will he...lp me out in the future because the injury caused disability and I won't be able to do the things I used to love doing. He is aggressive. I wish it didn't take so long to finish the case 3 years. but Mr. Diaz said that in if I wanted what I deserved , full compensation, the store was going to put up a fight. A fight they did put up, but Mr. Diaz was their fighting too. He's a good attorney. Sometimes too busy :], but he takes care of his clients in his time.
