Darrell Nathan Erwin

Darrell Erwin is one of the smartest people I have ever met. he is extremely knowledgeable about law and many other fields. I hired him a few years ago for a personal injury matter. In our first meeting he gave me a thorough diagnosis of my injuries. even my doctor didnt see some things that he saw!!... I found tha mr. erwin was in the navy and was a medic and worked in a lab. his extensive knowledge in the medical field are extremely helpful in personal injury cases like car accidents or medical malpractice cases. he sees things others wouldnt see. I could tell he thinks outside the box unlike other attorneys. the insurance carrier did not want to give a fair settlement on my case. Mr. erwin's tactics worked like a charm. I may have waited a little while but it was well worth it!! I think that people have this misperception that they will make millions of dollars from a tiny injury when it is no the case. I have to admit knowing that I did not set my bar high but got more than I thought I would. we had to go to mediation and I saw him talk to the mediator, who was a judge and the defense counsel about things they didnt even realize!! a fellow attorney, ok maybe but a judge?? he can outsmart anyone and that is why I would recommend him and I have been for a few years now. he also negotiated my bills for free when he did not have to do that at all. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DARRELL N. ERWIN. his staff is very friendly and would answer any question I had. I read a review that was really mean and did not seem like Mr. Erwin. that is one of the reasons why I thought Ishould say something. I have been in his office and noticed some of his other clients who seemed pleased every time. Finally, I went to one of his trials last year. tha case made me realize how SELFLESS and KIND and GENEROUS and a FIGHTER Mr. erwin is. he took on a case that I thought wouldnt really stand due to the old age of the patient who died of medical malpractice. Mr. Erwin still fought and spent his own money (experts are expensive) to help a family find peace. even though the only way to was by going to trial and spend his own money. One again, I have been recommending him to every person I know. A couple of my friends hired him and are very pleased with his services but they are not the kind of people that are so bored and demanding and divas that they need to hear from they attorney every other minute.

In 2009 I was hit by a waste management trash truck. I immediately was referred to Darrel by a family member, who ironically has also written a review (unfortunately it was prior to judgement.) Darrel was very responsive and involved in my case up until we received my settlement check. Trying to appe...ase me, he threw a few small checks my way. I have had to hunt him down just to get any kind of information. The last i actually spoke to him is when I requested an expense report of the settlement. I got nothing. It is now 2012 and am yet to have a phone call returned or email responded to. I truly get the feeling Darrel took advantage of me as well as personally misjudged me. Darrel, if this gets your attention, I'd love a copy of the expense report.

I have been working with Mr. Erwin for close to 3 years, I first hired Mr. Erwin after being hit on my motorcycle, and again when a surgeon repairing my shoulder from motorcycle accident made my shoulder worse, than better, and I had to have a surgery to fix my shoulder, Mr. Erwin is defending me thr...ough a malpractice suit. Mr. Erwin is a Pit Bull, once he takes the case and gets his teeth set, he is a focused missile. He becomes an expert on your case, researching and understanding all that is required for success. I have spoken to Mr. Erwin at 8 pm at his office and met him the next morning at his office at 7 am and he had not gone home. Mr. Erwin was busy researching, preparing, and ensuring that he did not miss, or not understand anything regarding our case. One thing I need to bring to your attention, when Mr. Erwin is focused he does not hold your hand, and update you all of the time, he calls when he has information, or needs to advise, which worked for me. If you need to be in the loop all the time, Mr. Erwin I feel would not work for you, when he is working on cases he is focused, on his client and their needs and the case in front of him. It does not mean he is not working on your case also, but when going to trial he is a focused missile on the win at hand. That is what I enjoyed having Mr. Erwin representing me, I knew he would be focused on my case when it was my turn. I highly recommend Mr. Erwin a much focused litigator, and very personable. I am currently waiting for our final judgment, whether we win or lose our malpractice case, he did a great job, and would utilize Mr. Erwin and highly recommend him in a heartbeat.

Contrary to the 'other review", nothing could be further from the truth. Mr. Erwin is a rare lawyer who will not drop your case if he takes you on as a client. I expected him to frop my case but he kept saying we will wear them down and I didn't cause this mess. So don't believe a "sour grape". That ...client wouldn't be happy with anyone I'm quite sure of that. If Darrell did or said something she or he didn't like, then the person was probably a complainer before they were luckly enough to get a snart attorney, or someone where nohing is enough even if they got double of what they deserved. Don't believe that loser! I GUARANTEE there's more to the story, and it's probably not bad like they said

I was in a car accident three years ago and suffered a whiplash. Mr. Erwin took my case and also took me for a long ride. Mr. Erwin closed my case and signed my release paper without my consent or any notification. He also cashed the check and kept all the money. I have never had a lawyer take advan...tage of me like Mr. Erwin did. This lawyer was not attentive, NEVER returned my phone calls and never communicated.
