Britney L. Malpiede

Britney (“Brit”) L. Malpiede is committed to compassionate and proactive representation. Brit exudes a genuine desire to help, and believes actively listening, to each client's priorities and circumstances, is paramount to building productive and trusting client relationships.

Brit believes a cooperative approach, particularly where children are involved, can yield decidedly effective results. She also knows success can be garnered through strategic litigation, where appropriate.

In her free time Brit enjoys yoga, camping, hiking, spending time with friends, travel, and going on adventures with her dog, Zoey. Originally from Colorado, she is enamored with the outdoors.

Brit is a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice law in the Federal District Courts of the Southern District of California. She received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Sociology at Colorado State University.

During law school she was on the Dean’s List, received an Award for Academic Excellence, and other recognitions. Brit is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Family Law Bar Association, and Lawyers Club of San Diego. She received the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Services three years. Her favored pro bono organizations are San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and Casa Cornelia Law Center.
