Araceli Martinez

Araceli Martinez is an Associate Attorney at Antonyan Miranda. Ms. Martinez, who is trilingual English-Spanish-French, graduated with distinction from San Diego State University with a double major in Political Science and Psychology, and a minor in French. Ms. Martinez then attained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.

Ms. Martinez has over a decade of experience in all aspects of family law, civil litigation and immigration, and has furthered her litigation skills as a graduate of the trial advocacy program of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. Ms. Martinez prides herself as an exceptional advocate for children and families, having trained frontline professionals in domestic violence essentials as part of the San Diego Domestic Violence Council.

While still a law student, Ms. Martinez was a Certified Legal Intern for the San Diego County District Attorney - Economic Crimes Division, and also a Legal Intern for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program - Special Education Advocacy Project. Currently, Ms. Martinez serves as a Board Member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, is Vice President of the Friends of the City Heights Library, and chairs the Committee for the American Bar Association’s annual City Heights Law Day. Ms. Martinez also chairs the MANA de San Diego Advocacy Council. Previously, Ms. Martinez served as a Board Member of the San Diego County Bar Association- New Lawyer Division, where she co-chaired the Continuing Legal Education and Communications Committees, was President of the Middle-Class Taxpayers Association and served on the San Diego Unified School District Community Advisory Committee for Special Education.
