Anton Lakshin Georghiou

Anton Georghiou is a San Diego native, having immigrated with his mother over 23 years ago from Moscow, Russia at the age of 8. He was an honors student at San Diego State University and earned a double major Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration in 2004. In 2005 he attended California Western School of Law. While there, he was on the Dean’s list and received academic honors and held membership in several associations. Anton graduated near the top of his class and received an “amjur” (the highest grade possible) in several classes. During his law school career, besides participating in numerous internships and externships, Anton engaged in legal research and edited a subsequently published book on Human rights, “The Anatomy of Torture A Documentary History of Filartiga v. Pena-Irala.” He lives with his wife Sophia and dog Volk in Normal Heights and enjoys surfing, and many outdoor activities. For the past 4 years, Anton has worked with the San Diego Bar Association’s Modest Means Program to help low income clients who would not otherwise have access to legal representation.

Anton is a member of the American Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association. Anton is also a member of Le Tip of La Jolla since 2012.
