Born, raised, and educated in San Diego, Anthony M. Medina represents clients ardently and with compassion. As a matter of principle, he is dedicated to serving the community that has helped change his life. Further, he is guided by the belief that each client deserves an attorney who is aggressive, accessible, and professional.
While studying at the University of San Diego, Mr. Medina became heavily involved in community organizing and volunteering. Through the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, Anthony spent time volunteering at San Diego Juvenile Hall and the South Sudanese Community Center as a mentor and English teacher.
As a student at California Western School of Law, Anthony continued his dedication to community service. He spent a summer working at La Raza Centro Legal, an established and well-respected Community Law Center in the heart of the Mission District in San Francisco. He also spent time interning and clerking at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the San Diego Employee Rights Center, the American Civil Liberties Union and the California Innocence Project.
After law school Anthony set out to establish his own law practice, where he could integrate his grass roots mentality and dedication to community service into his legal career. AM LAW was the manifestation of those efforts. After representing clients in Family Law cases in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties, Anthony witnessed first-hand the need for a firm that can represent clients effectively without charging excessive rates. He has now used this realization as motivation to pursue and further People’s Legal Services’ mission.
