Richard Degrove Muir

I hired Mr. Muir in 2005 to help my 18 year old son who was facing a serious felony. Right from the beginning he was honest with me and did not try to scare me with a lot of BS. I just picked him out of the phone book but I got very lucky! Actually, I went to see an attorney in La Jolla first but ...he tried to scare me out of $80,000. He said I could sign my house over to him since I didn't have that kind of money otherwise I'd be visiting my son in prison for the next 20 years. I knew I had to get out of there fast! I can't believe lawyers are allowed to do such things! Anyway, I went straight over to Mr. Muir and he charged me $15,000 without any scary scenarios. He explained things clearly and calmly so I hired him and it turned out great! He always kept me informed as to what was going on and he always called back ASAP when he wasn't in his office. My son came home in less than a year (on probation) but that's still better than 20 years! I've always thanked God for "sending" me to Mr. Muir. He is very diligent and thorough in his defense strategy. You can tell he's not in it just for the money. He really cares about people! P.S. Most public defenders are useless so my advice is, if you can scrape up the money, hire Mr. Muir. It'll be money very well spent!

Mr. Muir is genuinely a very good hearted man, and he wants the best for his clients as well as to see that the law is served.
