Tanya Lee Weston

After an allegation of a DUI, an attorney friend referred me to two attorneys. One was in San Marcos and the second was Tanya Weston. In a panic and rush and to get things going, we hired the other attorney we were referred to without ever interviewing either one or without even contacting Tanya. ...After a few weeks of pretty much no movement on my case with the other attorney we hired, and after very little feedback and contact with the attorney we did hire, we went to talk to Tanya to see if she would take our case over. From the moment we met her we were immediately confident in her and found her to be communicative, intelligent and aggressive. In addition to her highly regarded professional characteristics, she is genuinely a very like-able person. She works hard for her clients and she knows the system well. And because of her like-able demeanor, it's obvious that she has easily forged strong relationships within the legal system and it's apparent that others WANT to work with Tanya (Judges, DA's, etc.). She was able to negotiate down my DUI charge to a wet reckless in a matter of months. This was a MOST favorable outcome and by far the one outcome we hoped and were told by everyone it would not be likely at all. I'm so very grateful that we found Tanya and that she worked so hard for us. I know her job getting my DUI charge dropped was not an easy one. She is tough and smart and she's definitely the attorney you want in your corner. She always kept us in the loop and was very reachable and explained everything to us. I never once felt rushed out of her office or felt that she didn't have time for me. I always felt assured and confident that she was always working her hardest for us. I should note that if our outcome would have been different, I still would feel the same about Tanya and would feel confident in knowing that she worked every possible angle for us and gave it her all. I can't recommend her more. This was a very scary time for me as this was a completely random first ever offense, but a serious one. I am a mother and a wife to a working professional. Facing a DUI charge was something completely out of character for me and was very new, uncomfortable territory for my husband and I. I felt awful about it but knew from the time we hired Tanya, that we were in good hands and having her fight for us was our best move -- hands down. I highly recommend Tanya.
